Moderately Concentrated Acetonitrile‐containing Electrolytes with High Ionic Conductivity for Durability‐oriented Lithium‐Ion Batteries

Electrode protection additives for acetonitrile (AN)-containing electrolytes play an important role the usability of such since it is decomposed reductively and electrochemically on negative electrode lithium-ion batteries. The durability containing AN with low concentration lithium salt was investigated by electrochemical measurements to achieve desired battery performance derived from high ionic conductivity. reductive decomposition suppressed adding vinylene carbonate ethylene sulfite as solid electrolyte interface formation additives. temperature various positive chemistries improved applying pyridine a stabilizer LiPF6. AN-containing enhances long-term at temperatures due higher molecular mobility barrier. This not only increases capacity enabling usage thicker electrodes, but also reduces total cost production.
